Autumn will soon be upon us...I love this time of year as it is such a cosy time. Are you an autumn lover too, looking for a nice cosy autumn activity?
Well, read on and see what great suggestions I have for you...
Today, I wanted to share two things which I enjoy doing and which I can help you to take part in yourself too. These two things are perfect to do when you're all nice and cosy, wrapped up in a fluffy blanket with some relaxing candles burning.
I enjoy reading the Bible
I love writing
These two things go hand in hand in my experience. As you probably know, I enjoy writing about what I read about and study in the Bible. I find this very enjoyable and relaxing - it gives me some quiet time to learn, reflect and have time away from life's stresses.
With this in mind, I want to help you to read, study and think about the Bible yourself so you can also experience enjoyment and benefit from doing this. These activities can give you some cosy moments of relaxation, to help you feel refreshed and more able to deal with any daily stresses with a calmer mindset.
So you may be wondering how you can gain comfort from reading and writing? Well here's how...
1. You could start off by doing some Bible reading. There are so many encouraging verses in the Bible. The Psalms in particular have so many comforting verses in.
2. Then try writing out some Bible verses which you have found helpful and encouraging when reading your Bible.
To help you to do this, I've designed The Bible Verse Writing Journal. This book is specifically designed to provide you with a variety of pages to help you write down and think about Bible verses.
3. If you're wanting to do your own Bible studies, I can help you with this too! My handmade notepads are perfect for you to write down all your Bible study notes in.
You can find these notepads on my sister website - Bible Quotes Creations. NEW notepads have been added to the website this week, with more new ones to come next week!
4. In addition, I am working on two NEW Journals - The Scripture Journal is an undated yearly journal with a variety of creative, fun and organisational content in. Also, the other journal - The Bible Reading Journal, specifically gives guidance on Bible study, based on what I find helpful. So keep an eye out for those - launching in Autumn this year!
5. Finally, if you want some extra reading, then you could read my anxiety self help books ("Casting all your care upon him...") alongside your Bible, to help you learn more about the Bible and the comfort it contains for us.
I hope this post has inspired you to try these two relaxing activities for yourself to give you some moments of calm in this busy world...
All my books can be found on this website under the various different categories - Self Help books, Journals and Planners. If you have any questions or queries, feel free to contact me.
