When I first started my blog, I shared with you my favourite Bible verse from the Palms... So in this week's blog post, I want to share with you two of my favourite verses from the Proverbs - Proverbs 3:5-6.
Why did I decide to focus on this topic this week? At the end of last week, we thought about these two verses from Proverbs 3, as part of the FREE July Scripture Writing Plan on Trust.
Therefore, today I wanted to share with you my thoughts on these two encouraging verses from the Proverbs.
"Trust in the LORD with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding.
In all thy ways acknowledge him, and he shall direct thy paths." Proverbs 3:5-6.
Today, I want to share with you 5 lessons from these two verses, which can bring us comfort in our lives.
1. We should turn to God, especially in hard times and trust in him with all our heart. We should completely trust in his plan for our lives.
2. God is in control of everything and he always knows and does the best thing.
3. We should trust in God rather than in what we think is best.
4. In every situation in our lives, we should acknowledge that God is in control in our lives if we follow his ways.
5. If we acknowledge God is in control, then he will guide us in our lives, by his angelic care.
