Hi and welcome to my blog! I'm Abi - an anxiety sufferer using my faith to help me through my anxiety journey.

My favourite things to do are:

  • Reading and studying the Bible

  • Writing

  • Spending time with my sister

  • Singing hymns

  • Listening to music


  • I have reached up to grade 5 in the piano

  • A few years ago I did some volunteer work

  • I've written 3 books, and am currently in the process of self publishing 2 more books.

  • I love chocolate, and I have a big obssession with stationery.

My purpose in writing this blog is to share my anxiety journey, and how my faith gives me so much strength and hope through every period in my life.


Back in 2011 when I was nearly 16, was when my anxiety journey first started. At this time I had no idea what anxiety was, until I experienced symptoms of it and began to learn more about it.


Anxiety for me started out in a negative way, due to my lack of knowledge and experience of how to cope with it. I was very fearful that I was stuck in a permanent anxious state, and at the beginning I didn't know how I would ever be able to overcome and manage anxiety. However, as time went on I realised that anxiety is a journey - there is light at the end of the tunnel! Anxiety does get better - I did learn of ways to cope with and manage my anxiety, and this is what I want to share with you in this blog.


My aim is to encourage fellow anxiety sufferers that you are not alone! There is a whole community of people who also suffer with anxiety, and who understand and empathize with what you are going through.
