The King's Coronation is an event which is in the forefront of many people's minds. It will be a momentous occasion for many, as it has been over 70 years since the UK has had a king ruling on the throne. With this in mind, I wanted to use this topic of the King's coronation to share with you my hope for the future. I want to share with you this wonderful hope because this is the biggest thing which helps me through my anxiety. In this blog post I want to talk about a future king who I'm looking forward to seeing. This future king won't make any mistakes - he will rule perfectly, justly and righteously. This king is Jesus Christ - God's only begotten son. In Psalm 72:2,4,12 we learn about Jesus' righteous rule. "He shall judge thy people with righteousness, and thy poor with judgment. He shall judge the poor of the people, he shall save the children of the needy, and shall break in pieces the oppressor." "For he shall deliver the needy when he crieth; the poor also, and him that hath no helper." Jesus will rule in a fair way, he will help the poor and needy, and will always do the right thing. He will successfully rid the world of all the evil and injustice. In the end, he will bring great peace and harmony to the whole world. When will Jesus reign on the earth? He will return to the earth from heaven, to establish God's wonderful kingdom. Although the Bible doesn't tell us for certain the date or time when Jesus will return, God gives us signs in world events which show us that Jesus will return soon. Also, each day is one day closer to his return. Furthermore, Jesus' reign will last for ever! There will be no end to his righteous rule. We read about this in Luke 1:26-33. "And he shall reign over the house of Jacob for ever; and of his kingdom there shall be no end." Luke 1:33. This is another wonderful thing to think about... The kingdom will never end, therefore, when Jesus is crowned as the king, the world will never go back to the troubled state it is in now. Before we conclude this blog, I want to briefly share with you some aspects of what God's kingdom will be like, and how we can have a part in this kingdom. In Isaiah and Revelation, we learn about some aspects of God's kingdom. • In the kingdom, the earth will be transformed! The whole earth will be beautiful - even the deserts will be transformed... See Isaiah 35:1-2, 6-7. • There will be no more illnesses or disabilities of any kind - both physically and mentally. See Isaiah 35:4-6, 10. • There will be no more sorrow, struggling or death. See Isaiah 35:10 and Revelation 21:4. • There will be no more war. See Isaiah 2:4. • There will be no more homelessness. See Isaiah 65:21. • There will be no more hunger or thirst. See Revelation 7:16. Are you struggling with any of these things at the moment?Read on to find out how you can be encouraged by the hope of God's coming kingdom too... This is just a brief outline of what God's future kingdom will be like. It is these aspects (and others too), which make it so wonderful and give me so much hope. I know that suffering and sorrow will end eventually - everything will be made right and good in the end. These aspects of the kingdom, give me a wonderful hope to help me to keep on fighting and keep on striving to improve each day. Anxiety and struggles will be forever removed in this kingdom, and this is something I'm really looking forward to! The hope of the kingdom keeps me strong because I know something far better is coming! We can see from the Bible how God's kingdom is such a wonderful hope for the future. Finally, how can we have a place in this future kingdom? Mark 16:16 tells us - "He that believeth and is baptized shall be saved..."

Belief in God and His word, the Bible, and being baptised is required of us, for us to be included in God's kingdom. However, after baptism we also have to try and live a life which pleases God. We can do this by obeying what He teaches us in the Bible, and by developing good characteristics, like we read of in Colossians 3:12-14.
